Kinmokutsu Teahouse

This small teahouse, only about three square meters, was built in 1918 according to Hara Sankei’s design, and is connected to Gekkaden.
Old wood from the Kinmokaku Gate at Daitokuji Temple in Kyoto is used for the alcove pillar. This is the source of the name “Kinmokutsu.”
